Change to Client-to-Agent ATO linking

To help protect people further against fraud and identity-related theft, the ATO have changed the way agents will link clients to their online services.

From 13 November 2023, the new Client-to-Agent linking process will apply to all entities with an ABN excluding sole traders. This new process will involve the entity nominating the agent through their Online Services for Business. Once the entity has nominated the agent online, they then have 28 days to accept the nomination and add to their Online Services for Agents.
